The Analytic Resources team is composed of biostatisticians, data specialists/SAS programmers, technical analysts/programmers and a research economist who contribute to studies and projects across a wide spectrum of activities:  developing analytic plans, extracting information from myriad source data systems, maintaining data quality and integrity, conducting statistical analyses, and assisting in the dissemination of results to appropriate audiences.  They work cohesively, collaborating with IHR and external investigators, with other KPCO department analysts, and with analytic personnel across the country.

Interesting Fact About the Team:
In 2007, expanded use and development of the Virtual Data Warehouse, a series of standardized data structures, enabled the Analytic Team to decrease turn-around time for data and analytic requests on over 44 research projects.  Also, the expert technical analysts/programmers extracted previously unavailable information from Kaiser Permanente HealthConnect, our secure electronic medical record system.
